DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR FLOORING NEEDS HERE!! The secretray (Louise) is not very helpful because she cannot make any decions without the permission of the owner/or part owner, Mike Waters. Like in my case, if there is a problem with your order, she cannot answer any questions, instead she is constantly writing down your phone number and having someone return your call. I spent more time waiting on someone to return my phone call from this company. That should have been a red flag right there but I didnt see it coming.

In addition, this company is VERY MISGUIDING in their policies. While purchasing my flooring, I mentioned to Mike Waters (the owner/part owner) that if I had any extra materials that I was going to return the additional pieces. NOT ONCE did he tell me that all of my purchase was NON-REFUNDABLE and then encouraged me to order way more than I needed. Little did I know, this was a SCAM in order to make more money and REFUSED to take back the extra materials. I politely told him that I was unhappy with my experience and his response was "Im sorry you feel that way." It really upsets me when someone cant go the extra mile to make a customer feel appreciated.

The day that I hauled back all those materials into the store, Louise (the secretary) said to me, "I cant help you, YOU need to call Mike." And handed me his buisness card. Instead of calling him and trying to find a solution to the problem offering any assistance whatsoever, it was all up to ME to TRACK DOWN the owner/part owner to get some answers. He still did not return my phone call, I had to keep trying to get in touch with him... THIS WAS A HORRIBLE BUYING EXPERIENCE, BEWARE!

I just had my entire upstairs carpeted using Waters Carpet. I was extremely pleased with the process every step of the way. First, based on reviews online, I went to Boyd's carpet on Firetower. They gave me a quote for the entire upstairs for a particular weight carpet. They gave me a written quote. The lady called me to tell me the special deal that the manufacturer offered (it was basically $300 off of a $5,500 total invoice) expired on x date). I misunderstood the date and showed up one day late. They would not honor the $300 off. Further, my written quote was less than 1 month old and didn't say anything about the expiration. Finally, When I showed up to pick out the carpet, it was not available anymore. Horrible experience! Based on friends recommendations I went to Waters. They gave me a quote for a heavier weight carpet. Installed with the same pad at $1,000 cheaper than Boyd's. Boyd's wanted 1/2 money deposit. Waters required nothing until installation was complete. They had it installed on the exact date they promised. They billed me 1 week after installation. I had a small problem with a gap on the stairs and they showed up the day after I called them and quickly fixed the problem. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I loved working with Mike Waters.
