      This is by far the BEST Japanese restaurant in the Wilmington area. We traveled to Japan and spent a great deal of time there. They carry and prepare the freshest and most authentic Japanese food you'll find anywhere. The owners are fantastic too!

      The owners of this restaurant are so friendly and truly love what they do. By far the best sushi I have ever eaten in Wilmington...or anywhere else.

      A local favorite of mine

      I found Genki after living in Japan for over 40 years and rate it the best sushi in Wilminton owned/operated by a couple from Yokohama. He the sushi master, she the master of making all customers welcome. Japanese beer and sake, including Orion from Okinawa. Hope anyone visiting Genki will have a great experience.
