Established in 1986, Catholic Diocese of Wilmington is located in Wilmington, Del. It provides various programs and services, including child and adult care food programs for licensed day care providers, community relation programs, counseling and mental health treatments, various crisis services, the Delaware Energy Assistance Program, various emergency programs at Seton Center in Maryland, and emergency shelter at Casa San Francisco in Sussex County, Del. The diocese comprises the city of Wilmington and counties of New Castle, Kent and Sussex in the state of Delaware, Caroline, and Cecil, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne, Somerset, Talbot, Wicomico and Worcester in Maryland. It also has various parishes in Delaware and Maryland and provides pastoral services.
