- FlooringWe are skilled in commercial and industrial construction. We built the new EMS Station in Ravenswood, WV to replace an older facility that just didn’t meet the current needs of the community. The new Sherriff’s Office in Ripley, WV is another example of the experience we have with public works projects. On this project, we had issues with the specified flooring coming loose due to the concrete having too much moisture in it. We went back in one year later and put a moisture block on the concrete and installed new flooring because the customer wasn’t happy. This is just one example of Wolf Creek striving to meet its goal of 100% customer satisfaction.

Scopes of work for this project included demolition, concrete, masonry, interior architectural elements installation (such as lockers and bathroom dividers), windows and doors, drywall and interior finishes, flooring, elevator installation, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fencing, and overseeing the delivery and installation of gym equipment.

- Window Installation/ReplacementThe River High School Field House addition and renovation is an example of Wolf Creek Contracting’s success under the design-bid-build delivery method. WCC provided general contracting services as well as self-performed interior finishes and exterior concrete. The $2.5M endeavor involved the construction of a new field house and partial renovation of an existing building. Scopes of work for this project include demolition, concrete, masonry, interior architectural elements installation (such as lockers and bathroom dividers), windows and doors, drywall and interior finishes, flooring, elevator installation, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fencing, and overseeing the delivery and installation of gym equipment. The biggest challenge to this project was the impact of COVID-19 as it greatly delayed material lead times, such as the bricks used on the buildings’ envelope. Despite material shortages, this project was completed on schedule and under budget. The completed athletic facility is as gorgeous as it is functional and is sure to be an asset to River High School for decades to come.
- SidingWolf Creek Contracting is also skilled at historic restoration projects. In Elkins, WV, we restored the exterior woodwork and masonry on the house of Herman Guy Krump, ex-governor of West Virginia. Another example of our restoration background can be found at the Wellsburg, WV Tollgate House where we replaced exterior siding to match the existing material, installed a composite shaker style roof, and fixed several foundation issues.
