Jack Bender founded the company in 1965 as a supplier focused on providing parts for plumbing and heating contractors. It has expanded from a five-man operation to employ more than 30 workers at the company s main store in Waterbury, Conn., and showroom in New Haven, Conn. Bender Plumbing Supplies offers residential products and commercial products, such as boilers, faucets, fixtures, heaters, pipes, sinks, vanities and valves. The company specializes in selling Jacuzzi, Kohler, Maax and other brands of hot tubs. Bender Plumbing Supplies is also a distributor for other leading brands, such as Basco, Kimball & Young, Elkay, Honeywell and Olsonite.
