I have been bringing my pets there for over 12 years. They have gotten the best care. 3 surgeries and 4 litters. When we had to put our dog down, they were very kind and sent us a card a few days later.
My whole family brings their pets to Dr. Brewer. He saved my dog Hannah's life when she was bleeding. Nancy is so sweet and caring and the whole atmosphere there is just wonderful. Your pet will love Dr. Brewer. Susan.

Dr. Brewer saved my cat twice! My cat ingested something weird, and it was caught in his intestines. Dr. Brewer found it and removed it. A year later my cat did it again, and again my cat was saved. I trust him completely.

I love both Dr. Brewer and wife Nancy. I enjoy promoting small business. You really get to become friendly with the staff. Dr. Brewer came to our home when we needed him to put down our dear Jessie. We put Jessie in front of fire place with family and his familiar vet. Dog was very relaxed when the time came. We have another golden and two yorkies, and we are all family. My pets never need to meet a new face. My little yorkie was neurtered last week, when I came in, wife Nancy was cuddling my Teddy Bear. Great place, great family, great with your pets.
We've been going to Dr.Glenn for a good long time...we love him and our pets love him! he's honest and to the point! extremely helpful and caring! thanks so much Glenn and Nancy for ALL YOU DO FOR US! <3 :) Thanks to Dr.Glenn, our cat's leg is almost healed completely!

The vet is completely unprofessional, roughly handled our cat, spoke rudely to us, ordered me around the operation room like a dog, and got into a fight with my brother. He had to double sedate not just our cat but also another cat being treated because they would not calm down. I would never go back there ever, EVER again!

I have to admit, the Vet here is more then a little lacking in his human-to-human encounters. My mother's elderly dog (16+ years old) recently had to have extensive oral surgery due to infected teeth. To be honest, it needed to be done for some time, but my mom simply did not have the money - other vets had quoted us $2500-$3000. Airport Animal Hospital gave us an extremely fair price, and Ginger lived through the surgery and is now a completely different animal. Although some comments were made during the course of the visits that were less then professional, I could tell that he had a great love and concern for the welfare of the animals and perhaps is just not as kind or understanding towards humans. In other words, Airport Animal Hospital provides excellent care for animals at a pretty affordable price, but be prepared for a rough edged encounter with the vet himself!

Dr B has taken excellent care of my cats and dogs for years now. They have had major and minor surgeries. He has taken my cat home to care for him. His wife also boarded my diabetic cat for us while on vacation.

My entire family has used Dr. Brewer for 30 years now including myself. He is very good at his job and so are the people around him. He has taken excellent care of all of my pets over the years. I moved and used other vets in the past, but am back to Dr. Brewer. He is very honest and a VERY good vet. I dont get caught up in the personality stuff...that just strikes me as silly.
I have been seeing Dr. Brewer for my pets for close to 20 years now. While admittedly his bedside manner at one time could have used some work, I never questioned his expertise as a veterinarian. He has always taken good care of my pets; has done successful major surgery on one; had correctly diagnosed a girlfriend's pet when another vet's misdiagnosis almost cost the pet its life; when another of my pets was giving conflicting symptoms, he even suggested I go to a larger facility with more equipment than he has to get a second opinion (and they were no better at a diagnosis after several thousand dollars). All in all, I have always been happy with the results from his office. And since some personal difficulties for him have passed, he even has a much better bedside manner. Highly recommend.

If you love your pet, do not use this vet. Especially if you have a special breed dog such as bulldog, pug and similar breeds requiring special attention. My English Bulldog puppy, happy, healthy died under this vets. After speaking with 3 other vet offices and comparing the protocol of anesthesia from their offices to Brewer's, my dog's complications were most likely missed in the admistering of anesthesia. I believe he would still be alive today if I had gone elsewhere. And for the 2 out of 3 previous reviewers who noted Brewer's treatment of humans, they are right on the mark. I was told my pet was dead on my cell as I was driving. Brewer was un-emotional and matter-of-fact. I became almost hysterical upon hearing the news. He told me to call him back when I calmed down. Also,he said to my husband later that day that he did not realize I was so attached to the dog. What kind of a statement is that?
I'm sorry, but I do think that the two previous writers are confusing his treatment of human beings with the way he cares for the animals. I have been bringing my pets here for almost 15 years, and once, Dr. Brewer made a house call for my sister's cat. His bedside manner for humans is extremely rough; I won't deny that, but he DOES CARE 100% ABOUT THE ANIMALS! After all, are you there to have your behind kissed? Or are you there to have your pet taken care of by one of the best vets around this state? I drive all the way from Pawtucket, as I no longer live in Warwick.

I agree with the person that made the last review. He does not show any compassion and is very rude and does not make you or your animal feel comfortable.

RUN as fast as you can away from this man and this hospital!!! If you care at all about your pet, you will find another animal hospital. Brewer does not show any compassion towards the animals that he treats. His surgery skills are lacking tremendously and he does not use sterile procedures. Check out his pharmacy and you will find expired medications that he dispenses to clients. He has very little social skills and is very disrespectful to women in general. I would not trust him with any animal. RUN as fast as you can away from this man who calls himself a veterinarian and is an embarrassment to the profession.......
An excellent vet!! Dr. Brewer offers a variety of products and services are reasonably priced. They have bulk rates on the heartworm and Frontline Plus products also. Good, old-fashioned, caring doctor to my babies.
