I was very impressed with my visit to Dr. Shafer’s office, from the front desk all the way through to examination. The front desk was personnel was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I only waited a few minutes before going back into the exam room. A PA was with me for about 10 minutes, and was very thorough. The doctor came in moments later, was very thorough and knowledgeable, and put me at ease. I needed some tests that the office helped to schedule, and upon completing the tests will go back for a follow up. All in all I’m very pleased and highly recommend Dr. Shafer and staff.

Dr. Shafer is everything I could have wanted for my mother. He is professional but also very kind and caring. My mother is 90 and doesn't remember much but you say Dr. Shafer and she lights up. Dr. Shafer is also very kind, patient, and compassionate with my husband and myself as Mom's caregivers. Dr. Shafer had Mom evaluated and treated very quickly. Her medications have not only kept her from declining, but she has even shown some improvement, which was not to be expected but, there it is! So far, we've enjoyed 2 1/2 years with her that I truly believe we would not have had if not for the excellent care provided by Dr. Shafer.
