My family is so very fortunate to have Dr. Boris Ratiner as our physician. He never rushes his patients through their appointments. The doctors that referred us to Dr. Ratiner told us that he is the physician that their families use. The staff at Dr. Ratiner office also deserves a five star rating. Everyone is kind, compassionate and wanting what is best for the patient.

Dr. Ratiner is always on the cutting edge of what is currently going on with medicine.

took my Husband to see Dr. Ratiner for possible diagnosis of Bechets Disease and for some rotator cuff issues. After testing for Bechet's, Celiac and other indicators Dr. Ratiner 100% diagnosed my husband with Celiac Disease due to the positive result in the Celiac test. As you can imagine we questioned and wanted a confirmation that this was 100% diagnosed and without a doubt true. Dr. Ratiner said yes. We could not believe it so we got a second opinion and second test with came back negative. We went to see Dr. Ratiner again and questioned him. Now all of a sudden the Celiac test is "fickle" and can be misread. I flew off the handle.....a month ago he diagnosed my husband with Celiac Disease and now he has no clue if it's true. Why was I not told that this test is "fickle" and could be wrong? Instead I was told the test is 100% positive and that my husband has Celiac Disease. WRONG! He misdiagnosed my husband and could care less that I was irritated because of this. Another wonderful fraudulent act was that my husband received PRP therapy and we were told it was $600 or so for the treatment and that insurance would not cover it. We paid 2 treatments and then our insurance calls us and asks why they are being billed $5,000 for 1 treatment. I called Dr. Ratiner's office and got a lame excuse as to we needed to bill them for the "office visit". That is such a load of crap. They lie to the patients and then behind their back bill the insurance! They were denied once and I recieved another letter from my insurance saying that Dr. Ratiner is again trying to bill them. Be careful and do not use this office or practice.

I was with Dr. Ratiner more than an hour, crying most of the time on my first visit. He was very patient with me. Gently he explained that my disease was treatable, and that I could go on to live a normal life if we got it under control and kept the stress at bay. Well I don't know about the stress part, but certainly things have slowly gotten better and I feel half way normal again.

Some doctors are ok, they make you well, but they are in a hurry or are rude. Some are ok, they make you feel better when you leave, but you never get better. Some are the worst of both, but not Dr. Ratiner. Dr. Ratiner was very polite with me, cured my gout quickly, and aggressively. I always knew I would be better soon, and was on my way to recovery with Dr. Ratiner at the helm. My relief is all his doing, and I would give him a recommendation with no reservations.

Dr. Ratiner is the ideal that doctors should aim for, in my opinion. I've been going to Dr. Ratiner for more than 10 years. He's upbeat, concerned, knowledgeable, personable, warm, caring, thorough, and a good person. Dr. Ratiner spends as much time with you as you may need. Amazingly you still end up get out fairly quickly. Dr. Ratiner shares his years of experience and countless encounters with problems like mine, and I always leave feeling hopeful. His office manager is pleasant, competent and extremely helpful. If only all doctors were like this.

You may have to wait, but your time with Dr. Ratiner may just save your life. He really takes the time with you, and is is totally focused on you. He desparately wanted to be clear on my whole history. He is kind, occasionally funny and very, very smart. Dr. Ratiner has years of clinical experience that make him the Best!

"I have read some of these stupid people's comments and it just floors me. What a bunch of idiots! I have been going to Dr. Ratiner for my Rheumatoid Arthritis for a few years now. I have found his knowledge to be more than adequate. I have found his ""bedside manner"" to be excellent. I have never been treated poorly by him or his staff. I have always received the utmost respect from all of them. I don't know, maybe because I come to my appointments on time and prepared, or maybe it is because I pay my bills, but I just cannot see fit for anyone to lie like that, just because they are behind a keyboard instead of in front of your face. It just makes me mad. I guess if I had to say that Dr. Ratiner has a big fault, it would be that keeps seeing, treating, and helping patients that turn around and stab him in the back like that. Just cowards. Dr. Ratiner has been great. Don't let a bunch of jerks ruin your chance to get quality treatment. Idiots!"

The Doctor is top notch! The front office staff was very friendly and helpful. They have free parking, and in LA, that is a rare thing! They instructed me where to find the paperwork that I needed to fill out prior to my visit, as a result I was prepared and didn't have to wait. I was only in the waiting room for about 15 minutes before being called my name. The nurses were very sweet, very helpful and stayed to discuss my medical history while taking my vitals. Billing was very clearly defined online and by the front desk. Dr. Ratiner was very professional and personable and took the time I felt was needed to understand me, my case, and how to proceed with treatment. Any treatment, blood draws, and therapy I have needed have been done onsite. Rheumatology Therapeutics Medical Center gets my top recommendation.
