We stop by Stellas every time we vacation in that area, and will drive hours out of our way for their delicious Truffle Fries and Veggie Pizza.
Our last trip (July 5/17) wasn't the best. We were seated by the owner at a dark table (Dark even during the day). We moved so we could read the menu, and he looked very, um, "displeased" to say the least. It was 4pm, and there was only one other couple Dining, so we didn't see what the big deal was. This was just the start.
Bad service, wouldn't say a word to us all night, didnt light our table candle (Not a big deal, but we were on a date).
Just sucked watching him bend over backwards, shaking hands, hugging people, and taking pics with almost every other customer that was seated after us.
I work in Customer Service. We always take care of every Customer, but its the ones we don't see on a regular bases that we go out of our way for. We overwhelm the new Customers so they feel special and want to come back.
My suggestion; If a middle aged man with a Big Mustchio wants to be ur Waiter (Which he has no business doing anyway), ask for someone else. We will go back, but will walk out if he tries Waiting on us again.
Go for the great food, atmosphere, decent price, but watch out for Mr Mustachio, he is the Soup Nazi!
