We spent a week at this campground and it was amazing. The owner was very knowledgable and knew the surrounding area very well. He was an all around nice guy, came by our site 2 to 3 times a day just to see if there was anything we needed. We were tent camping with 4 children under 9 and the real bathrooms with flushing toilets and HOT showers were just great. The location was perfect for day trips to Taos, Red River, Angel Fire and Eagles Nest Lake. The RV's did not appear to be packed in, the people were friendly and there was certainly a sense of community within the park. Everyone was just plain nice. We will be returning whenever we can. A great weekend spot!
