Famous for its group approach to great hair, a loyal clientele and an owner whose name has appeared in publications such as Cosmopolitan, Allure, Harpers Bazaar, and many more. Malm’s shears have worked magic on a long list of celebrity clients. Malm was “Voted Cutting Edge” by Allure Mag. Komen Foundation holds annual cut-a-thons to raise money for Breast Cancer. This will be their fifth year with the SunCoast Affiliates for Susan G Komen Foundation. Previously Malm joined Bumble and Bumble of New York as the West Coast Regional Educator. He opened his first salon in 1995. Claude Nine Salon was located at 9 Claude Lane on the corner of Bush in San Francisco California. Malm specializing in editorial, collaborated with photographers and designers from international lay outs to local fashions shows. Malm and his team was chosen for the Macy’s Passport Fashion Show three years in row. Active in charity events he held cut-a thons to raise money for Aids awareness, children with cancer, and worked with the Triton Hotel for Aids Benefit Day X Fashion Show. The salon was published in Harpers Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Allure Magazine, YM, Teen, Fitness, Family Circle, SF Chronicle, Guardian, S.F. Weekly, Self, Redbook, Jump, Northwest Stylist, American Salon, Modern Salon, Modern Bride, Bride and numerous other publications. They were featured on T.L.C. "Make Over Story", NBC, CBS, and FOX. The salon was sold in May of 2001. Malm trained under Yosh for Hair, San Francisco California. Bumble and Bumble, New York
