awful - charged $500 for a $300 repair for coolant expansion tank that they broke from overfilling! Knuckleheads can't even pump gas without issues. Avoid at all costs. Have to give one star only because its required. sheesh...

Steer clear of this garage. I...

Steer clear of this garage. I was not only charged a large sum for what was a basic repair but I waited weeks for the job to be done despite best efforts on my part. I ended up spending over hundreds of dollars on parts that weren't even needed........how do I know? I broke down a couple hours of driving after leaving his garage and had a capable mechanic tell me that whoever did the work shouldn't be in the repair business at all. "No indication that he understands the basics". Enough said. BEWARE.

WARNING: STAY AWAY FROM NICOS

WARNING: Do not bring your car to be repaired at this facility. I had been a long time customer of Nico's having worked in the Stamford area, but his workmanship and level of professionalism has severely declined. Most recently, he installed a faulty after-market catalytic converter on my wife's Audi A4. The car would not pass emissions with this inferior part. Over the course of almost 12 months, we have dealt with Nico in an effort to replace the after-market catalytic converter with an original Audi part. He lied to us when he assured us he had installed an original Audi part. He refused to deal with us when the car repeatedly failed the emissions test and offered to 'doctor' the car's computer system in an effort to get the car to pass. Thousands of dollars later, and countless wasted workdays later, we went to Chris Ferrari at Fairfield Motorworks to verify that in fact Nico had installed an aftermarket catalytic converter a second time. Chris Ferrari (whom we highly recommend) installed an original Audi Catalytic Converter and problem solved. We have filed a complaint with CT DMV in an effort to return the faulty part to Nico and get reimbursed for his shoddy workmanship. Let this be a warning to anyone considering using his repair shop. Nico has refused to return calls so it is up to the State of CT and the BBB to help us now.
