It offers a range of general merchandise products and also provides 24-hour full-service grocery. It operates Big Kmart, Kmart Super Centers and Traditional Kmart Stores. It includes in-house bakeries, seafood markets and specialty food kiosks. Its range of products includes jewelry, clothing, toys and games, electronics, baby care products, home appliances and books. It operates more than 1,500 stores and employs over 133,000 associates. Kmart is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sears Holdings Corporation, a publicly traded home appliance retailer. Kmart maintains a headquarters in Troy, Mich., and also has one of its stores in Springfield, Va.
