Provided by YP.comThe staff at Companion Animal Hospital are shockingly careless and inconsiderate. My cat was there for a routine tooth cleaning. While he was under anesthesia it was discovered that he had a tumor in his mouth. The vet called my house and spoke to my roommate, NOT ME THE CAT'S OWNER. She pressured my roommate to make the decision on the spot to have him put down. My roommate tried to contact me, but I was unreachable at that moment. The vet (Dr. Villar) pressured my roommate until she agreed to have my cat put down. There was no reason why they couldn't have waited another day so at the very least I could say goodbye to him. I was petting his face and mouth just yesterday and he showed no sign of pain. And he has been eating normally, so he obviously was not in a lot of pain. There was no reason for this urgency to have him euthanised. Instead they contacted someone who was not even the pet's owner and let them decide the fate of MY cat. On top of that actually expect me to PAY THEM for killing my cat without my permission. I am seriously considering legal action and am in the process of consulting with lawyers.
