I was looking for a specfic type of carpet pad,,,won't make a long distance call to find out if you carry it,,,,, try getting a local or 1-800 number..I could care less if your headquarters are in Everett....dumb way to run a business..sorry..
At the first of January 2010, I went in to the Carpet Liquidator store on 4th Ave in Seattle to buy a carpet remnant so that I could replace the carpeting on a cat climber that was looking a bit worse for wear. Catherine Smith helped me that day, and while I was there I saw many different hardwood laminate flooring materials that I really didn't expect to see in a carpet store. My wife and I had been considering removing the 20 year old dark chocolate carpet mess from our home and replacing it with wood laminate for several years, and I knew I had to bring her to this store.
The following day I brought my wife Larisa along and with Catherine's help picked out some Birch laminate that was exactly what we were looking for, and it was being sold for a very reasonable price. Catherine was very helpful with her advice, and she made our choice much easier. We had originally decided on Pecan laminate, but ended up with flooring that actually suited us better than what our first choice had been.
We were encouraged to buy a couple boxes more than what we estimated that we needed, and were assured that we could return the unused boxes if they were not needed. Fortunately we did not open the last three boxes that we purchased and we did return them within 30 days of purchase. As I learned only when I brought them back, if either of these things had not been done, that would have made the return difficult if not possible, and I would have been very annoyed if that had happened. Actually if that had happened, this would have been a much different review. If I fault Catherine about anything, it would be these two details. I thank my guardian Angles for watching out for me, because I didn't know about those two requirements.
Catherine was very nice to work with, gave us great information and tips, we received a very good product for a very good price from Carpet Liquidators, and I earned a few points with my wife. Gotta get those points where ever you can in life.
If you go in to see Catherine, ask her about her Daughter who plans to become a heart surgeon. She is only 12 as of January 2010, but has known what she wants to do with her life since she was 8. Catherine is obviously very proud of her, as she should be. Terry Martin West Seattle
I went into the 4th ave south location and was very surprised with the amount of instock###inventory of high quality flooring. We purchase solid wood, carpet and granite counter tops.###They recomended a installer that did a great job. We had it all done in one week. We###plan on puchasing some tile for the kitchen & bath and will recomend them to all.###Thanks KJ
