great food and the best service in area

My wife and I were driving on I81 one Friday evening and decided to take the short detour to try Casa Bella (based on a previous YP review). This is definitely a "local place" with a lot of customers being hugged by staff. We were warmly welcomed with impeccable service. The tilapia with pink vodka sauce was excellent as was the house wine. Much better than the national chains!

Casa Bella has become our favorite restaurant since the first time we ate there. Excelent food, an extensive menu, reasonable prices and friendly service from every employee. Every meal I have had there has been delicious but my very favorite item on the menu is the penne with vodka sauce and shrimp. I have stopped ordering this at other restaurants because none can compare. We have taken numerous friends to this restaurant and they all leave with the same opinion we have. Whenever we are giving a gift for a special occasion, a gift certificate to Casa Bella has been the answer. There are many people in the Scranton area who believe that Casa Bellla is the finest restaurant in the area. We completely agree with that. What's interesting is that this restaurant has become so popular without any advertising, strictly word of mouth. Be sure to make a reservation so that you are not disappointed. There is on street parking as well as a parking lot behind the restaurant. Enjoy!
