Dr. Emily Iker is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist serving the Santa Monica area for more than 20 years. Dr. Iker is experienced in lymphedema treatment. The lymphedema treatment is tailored to each individual, according to his/her medical needs. The Lymphedema Center provides treatment for all types of lymphedema. Dr. Iker is a professional member of the Lymphedema International Society, the American Medical Association and the California Medical Association. She was awarded the Honorary Membership of the Lymphological Association of J.E. Purkyne, in 1999 and the Honorary Membership of the society of lymphology in Slovakia.

I have seen many Lymphedema therapists and a renowned MD at Stanford over the last 11 years. Dr. Iker did not take the easy route and assume it was due to my prior mastectomy and radiation. She noticed some peculiarities and pursued the cause. I will be forever grateful to her for her diligence and her clinical expertise.
Dr. Iker is an exepert in the treatment and diagnosis of Lipedema. She is very kind, caring and competent with her knowledge of Lipedema. She listens to her patients and her research is an essential part of her treatment plan. I am on the road to recovery thanks to Dr. Iker's treatment and guidance.
I love Dr. Iker and her team! When it comes to "lymphedema", she's the most knowledgeable doctor I have ever met. She understands what a lymphedema patient goes through on an physical, emotional and psychological level. Dr Iker and her team make you feel like a rockstar! They truly care about the patient. Also, they listen to the patient. This is possibly due to the fact that they're all women. Kidding. Men listen too. Kidding. I love Dr Iker and highly recommend her!!
