The owner is always friendly and helpful, and knows her inventory. If she can't use the books being traded in she will, with the owner's permission, pass them on to the firefighters when they're on the fire lines in the area, the inmates at the county jails, and the Friends of the Library. She collects money for a cat sanctuary in California's central valley and regularly mails them a donation. She is a caring, positive person and it is a joy going into her book store.
