We believe the recovery process is the presence and involvement of people who believe in a person's ability to recover, offering hope, support, and encouragement with strategies and resources for change. Family members, peers, providers, faith groups offering further opportunities for growth. Through these relationships, people leave unfulfilling life roles behind and engage in new roles that lead to greater sense of belonging, personhood, social inclusion, and community participation.
