sent the appeal form to SSA office in Sanford, NC on Nov 8th, 2013 with a return receipt signed by Troy Greenwald. On Saturday, Nov 23rd, 2013 I received a billing statement from Alabama office with an increase from $37,000.00 to $38,147.00 with an increase of $483.00. I called the office in Alabama and spoke with a Mrs. Parker. She advised that she didn't see any information on the file except from Tammy parker stating that it was not approved on June 2013. I asked for the additional increase and she had no information. She advised that no one had called and given her the information that the Appeal was pending and I needed to send a letter from SSA stating that it had been accepted. I told her that I did have a return receipt signed from Troy Greenwald at the SSA office and she gave me a fax number to send this information. At the end of the call I asked for her first name and ext and she would not give me this information. I asked to speak with a supervisor and she put me on hold for 20minutes. When I spoke with the Supervisor she told me to call the Sanford, NC office. I tried to send proof that I received it by fax it required a long distance number. I will try to send it on a different fax machine.



I sent the fax with delivery confirmation of the appeal waiver form I found on the internet website on Dec 3 rd 2013 with fax transmission confirmation after speaking with another Mrs Parker at the Alabama office. She gave me a fax number to send this information. I received the latest billing statement on Dec 23 2013 with the balance higher than initially sent still without an explenation as to why the amunt was this amt, I called AL office and spoke to 3 agent all who hung up on me. Neither one of these had confirmation of this fax I’d sent. Also the billing statement states that I may take tax refund I may be due.



On Dec 24,2013 I spoke with a Mrs Glen who I spoke with several minutes and finally stated that sthe appeal had been received on Dec 19th and was at the Fayetteville, NC office. She said it could take up to 2 years for this appeal. I asked to speak to a Supervisor and was transferred to Darryl Yax. He initially said it would be 6mth to 1year for the appeal to go through. He then said all of the billing statement would stop.



This debt has not been validated I want the billing statements to stop or I will file a lawsuit.
