I was referred to Dusty's from a friend that said they were a good florist, but when I ordered a basket of flowers and a teddy bear to be delivered at the hospital for a family member they forgot half the order. The recipient of the flowers indicated that ‘yes’ she got the flowers, but there was no teddy bear attached with the order. If I wanted only flowers, I would have ordered a different arrangement. Furthermore, the arrangement I asked for from the online picture was totally different from what was delivered less flowers, different colors and cheaper basket. I have the pictures the prove it.

I called Dusty's Flowers the next day and told them what happened. The lady on the phone, Sonya said she had to verify that the bear was not delivered because she acted like I was not being honest. After confirmation that the bear was not delivered, she asked me if I wanted a refund or for them to send the bear. I told them it was too late to send the bear since my family member was not at the hospital and they offered me a refund for the bear only. This was not acceptable and as a result, I disputed my credit card charge with my proof or evidence in the form of pictures.

I would have returned the product, however, as a matter of reasonability, it is not practical of me to go to someone’s house who lives 200 miles away in another town and ask for the flowers back that I sent to them a week ago. This is not a reasonable request as the flowers have probably been discarded and the patient was recovering.

I am use to receiving good customer service when errors are made by a service provider and discovered by the customer. They should have either sent another arrangement with a bear or a given me a discount on the whole arrangement because of their lack of attention to details and an incomplete order. I am wondering how many other customers pay for orders that never get delivered.

I order flowers for a funeral and I had no idea what to send and I just order something appropiated to express our feelings for the family they sent the most beautiful spray I've ever seeing.

The flowers I sent lasted almost 2 weeks, the selection was great and the container is a keeper. I'll buy from them again.
