I've been going to this place for a number of years. I'm sad to see the negative reviews; neither reviewer shows an understanding of the reality of how EXPENSIVE hearing aids can be. For my loss profile, 7 k is about right. Any place you work with on getting hearing aids is always going to be looking to see if you can afford their care. As far as testing an aid, you have to first know if you can afford the thing before even testing it, that's an insurance requirement set by their carriers. So, being hamstrung either way, and STILL delivering emergency care AND top notch care when I've needed it? They're going to be my providers until either I die or leave the state.

I had done a hearing test before so I didn't need the entire workup done. He spent a lot of time with me going over what options they had available. However the place is very expensive. For my hearing aids it was 7,000 dollars. Way more than the average cost of an aid. For that price it must be coated in platinum.

The audiologist I met with kept asking what my fiances are to see how much I can spend. will not allow real time testing of hearing aids before purchasing. Got frustrated if I want to think about it before i make a decision. I did not enjoy my visit there. went to another place and got 100% better customer service than here. My visit lasted for one hour. 90% of the time was spent on financing and how good there hearing aids are. No focus was directed on my needs.
