      After opening our doors in 1952, the Dairy witch quickly became a Salem landmark. The Dairy Witch putting up it's open sign has long been a harbinger of warm weather and good times. Many of the areas residents grew up awaiting this event. Driving past us on a warm night, you would likely note the long lines brimming with eager customers. Our soft serve formula has been pleasing our patrons since our inception. Banana whipped frappes and strawberry shortcake sundaes quickly became staples of Salem cuisine. Since then, we have added a variety of new things to our menu, including 17 flavors of hard ice cream, specialty sundaes, mix-ins, sherbert, sorbet, and many others.

      Our soft serve formula has been pleasing our patrons since our inception. Banana whipped frappes and strawberry shortcake sundaes quickly became staples of Salem cuisine. Since then, we have added a variety of new things to our menu. There are 17 flavors of hard ice cream on our menu, and 4 selections of soft serve. Customers have 8 options for candy toppings. We have all the old time favorites like dipped cones, crunch coat, and malts. Sundaes can be drizzled in a choice of hot fudge, peanut butter sauce, or butterscotch. We really have too many possibilities to list. If you imagine any of your favorites from that ice cream truck you waited for as a kid or that ice cream stand at the beach, we probably have it.
