this is the best school in the bay area. The owners truly care about their clients and their students. Very professional Atmosphere. The instructors have the best training and expertise. The smaller class sizes make your experience here feel like you are part of a family. Some of our clients have been coming her for over 30 years and continue to be dedicated. When you graduate from Loraines Academy and Spa you get to take their excellent reputation with you. You can tell that being open 50 years this school is the BEST!!!!!

I'm done with this place! I am all for "liberal scheduling" of classes and salon time to accommodate the busy student, but the frequency that they just don't show up when a guest has an appt tells me their attendance policy is way to lax! NEVER going back!

As a graduate of Loraine's Academy school of massage I thought it might be nice to give a review of my experience. I had 5 instructors which included two Chiropractors and an Oriental Medicine Doctor. There were never more than 8 people in any of my classes, and the staff helped me find a great close job right away after graduation. Most of my classmates passed their National Exam the first try. It was a wonderful experience and I would recommend Loraine's to anyone.

This school taught me so much about how I change the lives of other people thru beauty, and in the process, change my own life. The patient and compassionate teachers, owners and staff there personally encourage their students to challenge themselves to be better stylists (or massage therapists, or nail techs, or estheticians) and better overall people. I would definitely recommend this school not only to potential students and future beauty professionals, but also to ANYONE who would like to see their lives transformed thru beauty.

The front desk staff was excellent in making me feel welcome at Loraines and answered all my questions about available services. I have been totally satisfied with all services at Loraines. I've gone to the school every year to get updos for events such as prom, and I have received excellent service. Everyone is so nice, and treats you like royalty. My hair looked better than the salon I had gone to one year and it was less than half the price!

The best school around town! I went there while I was still in high school, they worked with my schedule and were always making sure I could handle with both work loads. The teachers were more caring than my high school teachers! Even going to the school as a paying customer before I enrolled was a very pleasant experience. I would recommend the school to anyone who wants a quality education, and a fun, educational environment. They also have a great job board!!

First class learning facility. Very nice setup that is kept clean and organized. The staff is excellent and caring. I would go back and recommend to anyone.

I started having my hair done at Loraine's to save money. Their students are so well trained that I can't even tell a difference from my previous $80 hair cut to the student's hair cut! The owners and teachers are very nice and always out on the floor advising students. They also do massages there which are amazing.

I have gone several times for hair cuts and coloring. The students do a great job and the instructors are always there making sure things are being done correctly. It's really a great deal too - prices are very reasonable.
