I felt like I was in a Stepford Salon - uncomfortable/ too forced/fake friendliness kind of environment and way too hard sell on the products. I told the stylist a few times what I wanted and each time she cut it like she wanted to. Two times it was uneven and I had to cut it when I got home. When I told her about it she got snippy with me. I told her I wanted to grow my hair as long as I could and one time she said "well why are you here to see me then". The next time she went into a long schpeel about how it was not "necessary" and how it should look good first and how long hair is not professional looking. Then she tried to sell me overpriced highlights and I said I could not afford them and again she got snippy with me. Needless to say, I will not be back. I'm not spending $60 for bad service again!

I was thrilled with this salon during my first visit. Then, not so much. I had my hair colored, and was quite unhappy that my stylist forgot to put the protecting cream on my skin, and I had to leave with stains in my hairline. To her credit she was very apologetic, but nonetheless, I was the one who had to live with the stain until it washed out. I also had mixed experiences with their booking department. They messed up my appointment twice. Once they booked me for a service that I requested, and when I got there I was told that it was not available. ??? They told me that I was booked for a certain day, but in fact they booked me for the wrong day. The second time they booked me with a totally different stylist that I requested. Again, they apologized, but given the the fact that this salon is quite pricey, I expected a more professional approach. No, I won't be going back.

Given a recent injury and the fact that driving for longer periods is still a challenge I decided to look for a place closer to my home. A friend of mine mentioned this salon a few years back so I decided to give it a try. I was very pleased with the services I received. Both the beautician and the hair stylist were very friendly, down to earth, and professional. I felt like a customer whose business was appreciated. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because I want to see if I get the same satisfaction as a regular client. It happened to me in the past in a different salon that once I became a regular customer the level of service just "wasn't there". Regarding this salon, yes I will go back.

Beautiful Salon but quite the pricey! My hair came out looking OK but no better than other salons that charge much less. The staff was also a little "snooty". It was not a bad experience, but I was disappointed as I had heard good things and was looking forward to my appointment there.

I am new to the area, but had tried 3 different salons. All 3 did terrible work on my hair. I went to J-Con and was quite hesitant to do anything else to my hair in this area. I'm so glad I went to them! They give you a free consultation before you ever set an appointment. They figure out exactly what you want and pair you with the stylist that has the most experience and skill for what you want. Then you make an appointment with that stylist and go back. My hair looks as good as it did when I was living in Atlanta and I was afraid I was going to have to fly back every 8 weeks to maintain an attractive mane! They do a great job, I think they are very affordable, they offer GREAT customer service (the massages there are great, too!) and I just can't give them enough praise. Go! You won't regret it!
