- Competing locally and nationally, performing lines typically dance in the categories of tap, ballet, jazz, and lyrical. Additionally, students may have the opportunity to compete as a soloist, or part of a duet, trio, and/or small group. Want to throw a dance party for your next birthday? Lake Area Dance Center will host it for you. All birthday parties include a dance class, games, and goodies for the birthday girl (or boy!) and their guests. Birthday party time slots are Saturday afternoons and early evenings. You bring the cake and beverages - we bring the rest! General Info
Lake Area Dance Center offers a diversity of high quality dance programs including creative movement, tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical and hip hop dance for recreational and competitive dancers age 1-1/2 years to adult. It is our purpose to provide high quality dance instruction to children and adults that not only develops technical ability but also self-discipline and confidence. In order to accomplish this, we feel obligated to treat all students, regardless of their level of proficiency, with equal care and consideration. Our directors and instructors aim to foster the creative imagination of our students and create a friendly, safe atmosphere for our dancers. Each of the dance studios offer cushioned dance floors and also, viewing windows for family and friends to enjoy the dance experience. We offer dance apparel and shoes for your convenience for class. Lake Area Dance Center aspires to be a place "Where Dance Is SERIOUS Fun!" making each student's time with us, delightful and memorable!
