Provided by YPmobileGreat variety of outdoor gear. Sales staff has hands on experience with the products and can give you first-hand reviews. They run great deals too!

Provided by YP.comAlpine shop use to be a place I loved to go now it's below average and seems like some corporate chain, customer service not as serious. Plus it seems like a store just interested in the profit, not the sport. What's really sad is I had to go to DICKS to get what I needed. They lost the old school Mystic that made it the best mountain shop like a real mountain shop from a remote location.

Provided by YP.comI use the alpine shop for skiing/boarding stuff. They carry high-quality merchandise, so you don't have to worry about getting anything sub-par. Also their staff really has experience with the things they sell. They can be busy in the holiday season, but they do take the time to make sure you are getting what you need/want. As with most specialty shops, you do pay a little more for all of this goodness. But, it's well worth it.

Provided by YP.comThis is NOT a national chain and boy does it show. Alpine has tons of uniqiue, cool stuff in all departments...you can tell the place is NOT run by some Wall Street equity firm..,but by the people who really do love the out-doors as much as their customers. They have LOTS of great clothes for men, WOMEN and kids. Whatever your fantasy sport is they've got the tools and toys to do it with. Super bike department, good with skis, kayaks, climbing etc. AND ask for Angie Bono their resident degreed shoe fitting specialist. She'll fit you with shoe inserts to make you walk better. Everyone who works there really goes out of their way to help, educate and inform you. It is a joy to shop someplace where people do care and DO KNOW what they are selling...unlike the big super mall chains. One more thing, ask about their twice a year tent swap/auctions where YOU can bring your unwanted sports gear to sell or buy some one else's unwanted gear for GREAT prices. In this day and age of super chains and McMerchandise all-the same shops, the ALPINE SHOP is a breath of fresh air.
