Founded in 1991, Republic Electric is a licensed electrical and transportation engineering firm that specializes in professional transportation engineering; maintenance, testing, repair and replacement of traffic signals and streetlights; and maintenance of commercial exterior lighting infrastructure. Its in-house staff includes registered, professional transportation engineers; IBEW/IMSA certified Level I, II and III traffic signal technicians and electricians; ESCO experts; light emitting diode experts; and finance/business experts. Republic s traffic signal laboratories provides a full range of technical services, including complete controller/cabinet testing, controller repair and conflict monitor/CMU testing and certification. Since 1998, Republic Electric has purchased and installed approximately 300,000 LED traffic signal retrofit kits in more than 100 public agencies. With offices and maintenance yards across the United States, Republic provides service to more than 180 public agencies and more than 100 commercial organizations. Republic Electric maintains one of its offices in Rancho Navato, Calif.
