Coastal Plain Hospital, located in Rocky Mount, N.C., is a more than 50-bed inpatient psychiatric and substance abuse treatment facility offering comprehensive treatment services to the residents of eastern North Carolina. The hospital is staffed by psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and nurses who provide care for emotional, behavioral, and drug and alcohol problems for adults. CPH specializes in care for depression, anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorder, and marital and family problems. It also offers care in the areas of parenting problems, relationship problems, thoughts of suicide, chronic mental illness and substance abuse treatment. The hospital is operated by the Nash Health Care System.
