Informed by office that they do "free consultations" so i set appt. Met with dentist who simply asked why I was in. He then directed me for xrays which I was told were part of the free consultation. I asked the xray tech if xrays were indeed free and she said yes. Not only did they look at problem teeth, they took 4 wingbites and a panorama xray. I was then taken to another room for yet more xrays and again I asked, this is all included in the free consultation and told "yes". Two weeks later, I saw that they had charged my insurance over $500. I sent a letter demanding they reverse the claim and they have refused; obviously, I will not have any work done there and now I will be out of pocket for any other consultation and xrays as Cigna clearly indicates they only cover xrays annually. This place not only defrauded me, but they will now cost me over $500 when I find another dentist. If you have had a similar experience, please email me at elpason at yahoo.

I had a great experience with having my root canal and crown done by Dr. King. No pain and the crown was created in the office and fit well right away. Nice high tech equipment. Staff is very friendly. Definitely will continue with more dental work at Rio Rancho Modern Dentistry. :)

I have been needing some serious dental work done for a while. I finally decided on Modern Dentistry, since they opened up in my neighborhood. I was not disappointed. The staff are happy people who create a very comfortable environment. Dr King is very easy to talk to, and takes the time to understand what you want. They use very modern equipment that I didn't even know existed. I got to watch him design my crowns, and they were made right there, which saved me some money. I was very impressed with my experience, and will definitely be going to them again for my future dental needs.
