      The Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association is a private, nonprofit organization. Founded in 1914, the facility staffs a team of more than 50 employees. It is certified by Medicare and Medicaid and offers community-based wellness services. The organization is accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP) and is a member of the Visiting Nurse Association of America (VNAA). Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association conducts various health education programs and seminars for clubs, church groups, volunteer organizations, and the Boy and Girls Scouts. It also provides assistance with various personal care services, including bathing, dressing and feeding. Additionally, the organization offers housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, laundry and case management services. Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association also provides rehabilitative and respite care services. The organization is located in Ridgefield, Conn.
