Went in to pawn some things due to falling on hard times. One item was a wedding band set after what took a life time of waiting the lady came back and told me she could only give me a $100 I said no way not worth it to me. I ended up going to Cash America because now things are getting pretty bad and thought that I would get only around $100 and was actually offered a loan of $800. I DO NOT LIKE BEING LIED TO OR TAKEN AS A FOOL AND MYSELF NOR MY HUSBAND WILL EVER GO BACK TO BEN'S. A business should never ever treat a customer like that.

I been there a few times to buy tools and majority of the times I've gone there I would look around and the workers would be staring at me like I was trying to shoplift. Numerous times I'd ask for a price and be told "we actually have on a little cheaper that one is a bit pricey." Just because I'm colored I guess. I've never felt so discriminated like being in this pawn shop. The bad thing is they think I'm a certain type of broke person when in reality, I am a U.S.postal worker just not in uniform. But this place is high on the expensive side.

Couldn't get any help if I was on fire, Prices way, way, way to high.

I have attempted to shop here twice. The selection is good but over priced. I had hoped to make an offer on a hand gun for the same price for the same gun at another store. I could not get the time of day. The last time (ever) I went in there the "way too cool" guys were too busy discussing lunch to talk with me. I went in with cash in hand to buy a specific gun. There were three of them, one was thin and younger than the others he actually looked at me and said hi but quickly walked away. The one that had already eaten way too many sandwiches ran the conversation. I decided I would wait until they had gotten it sorted out and would try again. In walks two under age girls, I'm guessing high school, and suddenly the portly one is inerested. The three of them start showing these girls any gun they wanted to look at while still ignoring me. I looked at skinny boy again and said "when you have a moment" but he told me he had to go pick up lunch. When I walked out they were still fawning over the bubble gummers. I went to Butchs (of all places) and was helped right away. Got my questions answered and walked out with the gun I wanted at a better price. He even threw in an extra mag. That's not to say I go to Butch's now but it is to say I will never go in Bens again!

The Gun selection is awesome! The diamonds and jewlrey selections are fantastic. The prices are unbeatable. Go here FIRST!

When I go to check out the ever changing inventory at Ben's Loans I feel like I am in a scene from Cheers. Everyone knows your name and they provide friendly service, answer your questions and I have never witnessed anyone being pressured or ignored. It does get busy in there, but the guys behind the counter have always acknowledged waiting customers by greeting them and letting them know that they'll be right with them. Pricing is always in line and for the guidance that you receive you can buy with confidence.Ben's Loan is one of my favorite gun shops. Their staff rocks!

Bought 10 or more guns from Bens in the past year and boy has the service changed. Big Tom left and it went to hell. Gun guys are rude and know it all's. Worst one is Ryan who thinks he runs the place. Good prices don't make up for the rudeness and just poor treatment to customers. I've discovered several other gun stores that have great inventory and where you are treated well. these days I recomment you avoid Bens Loans at least till they get rid of Ryan and change the level of customer service

Over the past seven years, I have bought four pistols and have sold/traded in two. Ben's has a good selection on hand or will order for you. The sales staff is helpful but not pushy. The guys working there know a lot but don't talk down to the customers. The prices, when you figure in shipping and transfer fees is very competitive with the internet - plus you can resolve any problems face to face. The rest of the store is a high class pawn shop with some interesting stuff. The place is crowded and cramped, especially on weekends - but it is full of the guns people want.

If you did'nt bought your firearms at Ben's Loan,you probably or better yet, paid too much.From my magnum collection,to several Sig,Glock,Para-ord,Kimber,Berreta,Taurus.Ben's Loan not just match there prices but beat the compitetors hands down.Forget Discount guns,Central gun exchang,etc.I love visiting the shop,just to look,or buy ammos.Friendly staff,knowledgeable,customer service at its best.Thanks You.

I have bought a few firearms from Ben's. Their prices are unbeatable, just ask the guys at DGS ha "discount gun sales" my ass. The staff at Ben's is great, their knowledgable about their products and will be straight with you. Expect to wait around and look at some other stuff in the store cause you will be waiting. They need one of those number taking machines.
