My husband had Alzheimer's dementia and I was determined to keep him at home as long as I could. I cared for him for 10 years and the last three were the most difficult ones. I discovered this company and thank heaven I did they made a tremendous difference. With their help I was able to care for my beloved husband at home until the end of his life. Everyone sent to us from Home Instead were very well trained but most important they were people with a big heart and lots of compassion. Vickie lifted both my husbands spirits and mine every time she came to help. Even when he was difficult Vickie could handle the situation. He spent many a happy hour with her whistling to tunes she played on a keyboard and telling some of his memories which were few. She watched the same movies with him over and over as if it were the first time. The office staff were helpful as well they even attended his funeral! I will never forget all of you at the Auburn office God bless you all.
