Every experience with Dee Jay rental went well until the Princess Champaign Fountain did not work well at our event. When turned on it splattered red juice on guests and staff. It was after hours, so we let the pick-up staff know that the fountain was not used because of the issue. Not only were we met with sarcasm by the Dee Jay rental staff and general manager Larry Smith (after a week of trying to have someone return our call) we were told that they would "Never Refund" our money for the fountain. We were then told by Larry that after his "20 years" of experience he knows that ether we "over filled the fountain with juice or the power outlet at the event gave off too much power". The problem with this argument is that this information was never given to us verbally or in writing. So basically, Larry, you rented us equipment that you knew would not work if these things occurred and you are baffled at why we would expect a refund for the rental of the fountain when it was not used? Larry then told me that " If I didn't tell you to plug it in the wall would you know to do that"?! This really happened. My suggestion is that if you choose to rent from this site, print out this review so you at least now how to use the equipment. Or you will end up with a $75.00 paper weight.

Easy, easy, easy! I used Dee Jays Event Rentals for a baby shower recently. The web page displays all the options so I could decide what type of tables and chairs and how much I wanted to spend before calling the store. You can even preview the color of linens and how the different lengths will look on the tables. After deciding what I wanted, I made a simple phone call to reserve the rental, prepaid by credit card and didn't have to worry about it again until pick up day. The directions were easy to follow and the folks helped us load up the tables and chairs. It was practically like a drive-thru. Drop off the next day was just as easy. I would highly recommend them.

For the past four years, I have used Dee Jay's for ALL of my party rentals. Their service is OUTSTANDING! Larry & Don are genuine guys who are truly passionate about their business & customers. In fact, I called this morning (Christmas Eve of all days) & ordered more tables, chairs, & linens. Per the contract, the items will be delivered between 11A-1P today. If they are running late, "who cares" it is the nature of the business & so well worth the wait.

Another rental company doublebooked something leaving me stranded last minute. Needless to say, I was a bit of a wreck, but the people at DeeJay's were nice and understanding and made my party go off flawlessly! I will never go anywhere else!

Poor Service. In the contract they agreed to deliver between 3-5 pm Moonbounce, chair and table rentals arrived 3 hours after scheduled. Party started at 6pm...rentals arrived at 7 pm during the Surprise Party. Management was unapologetic and stated that they cannot commit to a time.
