SCHRADER PROPERTIES If you a new stove, A/C Unit ect.. They will replace because it's the law. Bring up the infestation of ROACHES they will spray once. If you keep pressuring them they will tell you that you are the cause. That's it. They make money on turn over. If you're annoying them over issues that REAL PROPERTY MANAGERS would address ASAP. Well will treat terrible so you will MOVE. $$$ They make money out of turnover. Why deal will you when they can KEEP your deposit and put in new tenants.. They DO NOT notify you if there is an issue with rent. They don't even notify if there is a problem until 2 business day before sending it to court for eviction. I have direct payment. Something went wrong. I had no idea until. They received only a $150. I just signed my 13th lease and they still treat me terrible. I'm Disabled so i'm stuck here. I've met numerous renters and everyone says the same thing. They are slumlords. The properties are mostly run down apartments. They are nasty people. "We don't call or notify you about rent, YOU KNOW when your rent is due." -Manager. I then in formed her that just sent a transfer for $525.00 my bank to theirs. THIS IS WITHIN 90 Mins OF THEM CONTACTING ME. Her response "It better be here by Mon. It's not paid until it's in our account." (90 MINS)If they will treat me like this after all these years, Imagine how they will treat YOU. This after paying rent 143 months without incident. And 2 service calls. Schrader Properties. Wow. They really suck. Look at my Google review. If I could give no stars I would. Rude and nasty people. Granted, I just needed a place to live within my price range, but man o man it was probably one of the worst decisions I've ever made. Beware.

RUDE, disgusting, place, they don't respect you are your family, roaches everywhere, deposit you wont get back Regardless of how clean you left apartment or house. The don't deserve a hole star. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED SCHRADER PROPERTIES ARE SCAMMERS!!

I signed a one year lease from schrader properties on May 16th 2013 . I stayed at the apartment a whole year and moved out on May 16th 2014 they gave me the hardest time ever . Not only that they tried to charge me about $1500 in expenses saying I didn't clean the apartment when i left it spotless , they also charged me for June and July rent when I moved out May 16th , thirdly they charged me for dirty carpet when the carpet was dirty when I moved in I even wrote them they same month I moved in and told them the carpet was dirty .very shady rental office ! Do my rent from them worst mistake I've ever made Smh they have horrible roaches and they won't fix anything . Rented from this idiot for 6 months, the house was subdivided and was HORRIBLE. He wouldn't fix the heat so in one of our very cold winters, with holes in the floors and no insulation and OLD OLD windows, I had NO HEAT. When I informed him of his violation of the lease by not providing functioning heating and was moving out, he reported me to the Credit agencies. I reported him to the BBB and he withdrew the credit reports. But the houses are horrible and the maintenance is even worse. One of his houses burned to the ground because of faulty wiring and lack of leaking pipes under the house. DON'T RENT FROM HIM EVEN IF YOU THINK HE IS THE ONLY LANDLORD THAT WILL RENT TO YOU! it's not worth it.

Living in an apartment own by Schrader Properties was my worst experience I ever had with renting. One thing for certain they will address issues swiftly, however, there was no way to rid the apartment of the roaches and undesirable insects that had was part of the foundation for example painted roaches on the walls and behind the kitchen appliances that was visible to the naked eye. Before moving in at Schrader apartments please do a thorough inspection prior to signing your lease. After contacting the NC Housing Inspectors they came out and observed these conditions. There is nothing can be done once you sign the lease. My experience at Schrader's was unbelievable, and became my worst nightmare coming true.
