      Caitlin, a clinical therapist, has experience treating a diverse range of persons including families, young children, adolescents, couples, and adults. She uses a supportive, systemic approach, focusing on the therapeutic relationship as a major tool in achieving lasting improvements in well-being for her patients. She is also trained in evidence-based techniques that include cognitive behavioral, dialectal, insight-oriented, solution-focused, motivational interviewing, and family systems. No matter what may bring someone to need her treatment, she believes most people experience more hope when they feel connected and understood. Her warmth and compassion shine through in all encounters with her clients and their families. She brings enthusiasm, energy, and a commitment to high quality behavioral health services to Ellison & Associates. Caitlin also brings a wealth of knowledge regarding community-based support programs and will work to improve parent education services and community resource awareness at Ellison & Associates. Caitlin earned her Bachelor’s of Social Work at North Carolina State University (2009) and then completed her Master’s of Social Work at East Carolina University with Honors (2010). She is licensed with the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board to practice Clinical Social Work, and a member of the North Carolina Society for Clinical Social Work.
