Optrex America, which is based in Plymouth, Mich., near Detroit, is the United States manufacturing division of a variety of active and passive flat panel displays for original equipment manufacturers. The company offers a range of products. Its active liquid crystal display product provides high contrast, color saturation and luminance, Web-enabled capabilities for wireless networking, anti-reflective screens and wide viewing angles. Optrex s passive display products include color graphic displays, available in a variety of sizes; monochrome graphic displays, with high brightness and contrast, low power consumption and light-emitting diode backlights; and character displays, with a range of dot pixel formats.
