Established in 1982, Christian Family Care Agency is a private, nonprofit social services agency that serves children and families through foster care, child and family counseling, pregnancy counseling and adoption services. The agency is licensed by the State of Arizona and is approved by the Council on Accreditation. It provides counseling and support services and helps plan for parenthood by connecting them with various community resources, including parenting classes, education and career planning, childcare resources, parenting support groups, housing referrals and financial assistance. It also offers counseling to children and adolescents on several topics, such as academic and behavioral problems, anger, depression and anxiety, grief and loss, low self-esteem, and problems due to divorce, separation and remarriage.
