Office refused to allow a parent to go to the room with their young child. If this is important to you choose another dentist. I never met the doctor, but did see his age listed as 81 on another website. The office should also let parents know they only do cleanings and refer out all procedures.

We seen this man a few years back and I too was told we could not go back with our child. Our daughters mouth was busted at the corners when she came out and she refuses to go back. She said she told the nurse they were hurting her and they held her down. When she came out, her teeth were not clean, she had plaque still on her teeth yet they charged our insurance for cleaning and flouride. I wouldnt not use this place if they PAID ME.

My five year had her first appointment with Dr. White today (not her 1st dental appointment ever, just the first with him). I was nervous to go after reading the poor reviews, but we had a fantastic experience! Yes, I stayed in the waiting area and she went alone and it was no big deal. The door was kept open and I could hear my child the entire time. Everyone who worked there was super friendly. I can only imagine there being issues if you have a child who doesn't behave and in that case you should be reviewing yourself and parenting skills...not this dental office. I would recommend him highly.

I only give this place 1 star because 0 wad not an option. My son is tongue tied and i called to make an appointment to have it fixed, making sure this doctor did the necessary procedure and they said he did. We show up a month later for the appointment only to be told he does not do the procedure. Thank you for wasting my time.

The only reason I gave this one star is because that's the least you can do. I say no stars. I took my two boys to see Dr. White for the first and last time. My sons are 4 and 2 and my 4 year old is very shy, my 2 yr old is very outgoing. When they called my sons back they would not let me go back with them. The waiting room is completely blocked off from the rooms. When my husband asked why the front desk lady said for "privacy reasons" she said they have "patients info and calendars on the walls in the rooms". I never once met Dr. White either. Looking back I should have just walked out with them because I felt uncomfortable. But I let them go because they hadn't been in a really long time ( we've moved around a lot in the last year). I didn't like the tone in the woman's voice when she answered my husband either. It was funny too because the front desk had all the patients records behind the woman and if like any typical office in the year 2013 everything is in the computer. Will NOT be going back. I do not like being told that I cannot be with my child while two strangers tend to him...."privately".

My 5 year old is a astablished patient with Dr. Russell in Fort Walton Beach. But they were on a freeze and not taking new medicaid patients so I had to find my youngest someone else. I took my 3 year old daughter to Dr. White, and was not very pleased. She was scared and started crying and clenching her mouth shut. I talked to her several times before the appointment telling her all he would do was look, but she is only 3 so she still didnt understand. Dr. White came in the room and said well I will she if she will let me look. Of course she didnt and his response was "Well even if there is something wrong there is nothing I can do about it". To be a pedatric dentist you would expect him to have a little more patient with the kids. I was so upset by this point. I had waited a half hour past appointment time for her to be see and this is all we get. Of course they said they would not charge the insurance so I could get her seen by another dentist if I wanted. Well OF course I had to find her another dentist. This time I waited and got her in with Dr. Russell. Dr. Russell was awsome, he talked calmly to her and was kind to me. He told her in a soft voice "its ok" several time. and then told me "its ok mom she is just making a little noise". I really hope this was just one of White bad days and he dont treat all of his children and moms the way we were.
