General Info
My name is Margaret Johnson. I am the designer, artist and owner of Kicking Horse Gallery. Over 45 years ago. The elders on the Reservation taught me the old ways, including beadwork and how to make our traditional clothing of the Columbia Plateau people. As time went on, more and more of my time was spent working on beadwork. My work has been in the heard Museum Gift Gallery in Phoenix Arizona and has been sought after by collectors throughout the United States, Europe, Japan and China. I make the beaded sheaths, using smoke-tanned leather, completing a set that has always proven to be one of our best-selling items. I hope you enjoy browsing the pages of this website. Should you have any questions or a special orders, please contact me by email mj@kickinghorsegallery.com or if you prefer call me before 6pm PSTat 541.310.8568 Thank you, Margaret Johnson
