BE AWARE!!! This guy is a fast talker, liar and thief! He will pull the old bait and switch with what is needed at one price, then blow the price quoted out of the water! He will threaten to keep your vehicle if the bill is not paid, so a word of caution and another avenue to verify his "billing" practices: First, he MUST break down parts and labor BEFORE any work starts. Second, he MUST let you examine any parts that he is repairing/replacing, and give you the option of physically taking them with you. Third, there is no such thing as a "package deal" when he quotes you a price, it must all be broken down as outlined above. Fourth, he CANNOT quote a price that is "cash", and then inflate it if you pay on a credit card. THIS IS ILLEGAL AND IS IN VIOLATION OF THE IRS LAWS PERTAINING TO UNREPORTED INCOME!!! Fifth, he must be compliance with the NYS DMV rules and regulations in order to continue to be licensed as required for auto repair shops. I have successfully filed a complaint with the NYS DMV and there was an investigation done which DID result in a violation on file with the NYS DMV regarding his invoice practices. That documentation is available through the Freedom of Information Act. Lastly, should you decide after these negative reviews to have him do work on your vehicle, RECORD EVERY CONVERSTION WITH JOHN!!! He double talks, and talks very fast on purpose.
