They truly care about the animals. I have always found the staff to be very knowledgeable and caring

I am a huge fan of country kritters the are extremly helpful and freindly. In addition they always have the pet supplies i need. I have been a consistant customer for about 7 yeats now :) just love it two thumbs up!!!

As far as the staff, I've been shopping there for years, and unless they are extremely busy,. they are all willing to talk to you and help out! And the birds drinking water...being a bird owner myself- they are filthy! Dunking everything in the water!!! I know the staff honestly cares about animals- even though they are young. they really are helpfull and caring.. Give them another chance... take a trip out there!! Dont listen to everything negative you read.

i just recently found out about country critters in patchogue!!!!!!!!! i have been shopping at petco for years and found out that my dog & cat food (wellness) is much cheaper than petco!!!!! from now on i will be shopping at country critters for all my needs! they have a very large selection of everything you need and more. they also will order the item if they dont have it in stock. what a great pet store and the help is fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the store is looking much better.The staff was very helpful and friendly.i would highly recommend going there.

Such a fun store!! I went in their looking for a hamster for my daughter and walked out with an adorable kitten. The staff was so helpful and knowledgeable about everything we would need. Their aquarium section was quite impressive also!! We were very pleased!!!

Marilyn is back for all those who thought the store went downhill in the last few years marilyn is back from florida so give her a few weeks and the store we all loved will be tip top again.while marilyn was there the store never smelled and the employees knew there thing. ive known marilyn for 10 years and if anyone can makle that store beautifull again its her

Country Critters used to be my favorite aquarium store. Although their prices were not cheap, the employees used to be very knowledgeable and friendly, and best of all, the qualities of their fishes used to be topnotch. I'm not sure that's the case now. My friend and I went to the store the other day and found that they now have new employees, who ignored us. I also noticed that their fresh water display tank was gathering hair algae, indicating the improper maintenance. She bought a dozen tetras. The previous employees were always eager to explain how to take care of these little fish. New employees said nothing. She went to the register, asked a question about the price. The girl got upset and became hostile to my friend. I also noticed that their bird section looks bad; the drinking water was filthy. I wonder what happened... Sad. Very sad.
