Yesterday, while sewing a wheelchair/walker bag for nursing homes here in Suffolk County, I heard a loud clank and my sewing machine stopped working. I called the 112 Sewing Store to ask if I could bring my little Singer Featherweight in for repair. Earlier today, I made my way to Patchogue and Chris took a look after I told her that the problem had to do with the thread lever-up mechanism. She showed me that thread had wrapped around the prong holding the lever-up in place and allowed it to pop off. Chris helped me pop it back on and my machine works perfectly. I realize she could have just taken the machine and let her repairman work on it, but her little act of kindness was greatly appreciated. Thank you. Stephanie

NEVER EVER BUY, NOT EVEN A SPOOL OF THREAD AT THIS STORE.

You decide on a machine give them your credit card pay for the machine clerk comes over to the counter with an exacto knife cuts the box open and takes the cord. Then they say you can't have the cord until you bring back the machine you just bought for a lesson. The machine was a gift. So now the reciepent of the gift can't return it because at the bottom of the receipt in tiny print such as this it says no returns with open boxes. THEY OPENED THE BOX

ITS A SCAM. They have no repair service, the store is a mess. Just look in the back room. One of the employees is very arrogant & nasty and the other is ?? Brother should revoke their agreement to supply sewing machines to this establishment.

I would never by anything from them , they sell you then open the box and wont take it back unless you pay

They are willing to do an exchange on another day when the clerk returns. It should make no difference since I have a receipt and was sold the wrong part. I live too far away to go back again
