Provided by YP.comThey can careless about your pet's eyes. They only care about that you pay them for everything they recommended at a very steep price. Did not take their time to diagnose my dog's eyes and recommended all kinds of useless things such as a wrong kind of medicines and a dog collar. Definately get your second opinion at a different location. You will see the difference.

Provided by YP.comLike millions of other families, I look at my dog as a member of mine (not just an animal) and will always seek out the best medical treatment available. Having said that, I recently set an appointment with Dr. Allison Hoffman to exam my little guy to determine the best course of action for his eye injury. After she examined him, she was very clinical in her findings indicating that he needed a $2500 surgery which prompted me to ask questions to ensure I was correctly understanding the injury and treatment.
After I asked my questions, she was aloof in her responses, bordering condescending and when I continued with my questions -- she abruptly left the room with no explanation as to why. I am of the mind-set (regardless of one's education and, especially when you are dealing with people and their love for children and animals) that there must be an element of human compassion from any physician (including vets).
My advice is question everything, get a 2nd opinion and do not let an educated physician intimidate you by being dismissive and rude!
Incidentally, The procedure was done for UNDER $300.00 and my little guy is healing beautifully.
