Stay far far away from this place! Was recommended to this office by a friend after my first child was born. During the 1st visit I had to place a $90 deposit down, never heard of this before but did it anyways. My first few visits went by no problem, but never got to meet the actual doctor either. After my daughter had an actual medical emergency and we spent two weeks at Shands, we came back home and made an after hospital visit to see Dr. Azam and update her on my daughter's new medical history. The Dr. would not treat her. The Dr. told us to take her to the ER, we asked what for? Dr. just kept repeating herself, take her to ER. We called our Doctors from Shands they said they would call Dr. Azam and speak with her. My Doctors from Shands told me to get a new local doctor. She is refusing treatment. After we left the office the assist called me and said if you aren't going to go to the ER we will have to call Child Services and report it. So then we get a visit from Child services, everything gets smoothed over and even Child Services said they haven't heard anything good about this place either. The Dr. didn't even touch her or examine her, but she still billed my insurance for the visit. I then requested a refund for the balance I still have on my account, they first gave me the run around about insurance not paying past claims. I called my insurance turns out they paid ALL the claims including an office visit we never had. Its really hard to go to an doctors office in panama city when we are in a hospital in Gainsville. INSURANCE FRAUD!!!! I brought this to their attention and its been 6 months, still no refund. As I said stay far far away from this place!!!!
