Silvermine School offers a variety of educational and enrichment programs for students in grades kindergarten through five. It teaches various subjects, including English, math, science, social studies, health education, language arts, computer science, music, arts and crafts, and physical education. The school s library has a large collection of books on various topics, magazines, and other audiovisual reference materials. Its parent-teacher association caters to the needs of students, and organizes and participates in various school events. The school also offers a variety of food items for breakfast and lunch. Located in Norwalk, Conn., Silvermine School operates under the Norwalk School District, and enrolls more than 450 students.
