Founded in 2002, HEI Hotels & Resorts is a private, hospitality investment firm that acquires, develops, owns and operates full-service, luxury hotels and resorts throughout the United States. The firm franchises properties under the Marriott, Sheraton, Westin, Embassy Suites and Hilton brands. It owns more than two hotels in a joint venture with Prudential Real Estate Investors. HEI Hotels & Resorts also funds new development projects. The firm manages finance, food and beverage, and design and construction divisions. In addition, it has re-invested over $150 million in hotel improvements. HEI Hotels & Resorts manages properties in Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, New York and Tennessee.
