Hometown good. Great people. Good food. Great buffet. Excellent service. Always fresh and clean. Great selection

Very limited in choices and quality, but the service is even worse we have been there twice and both times entire staff spends more time chatting than taking care of customers. First time our waitress came when we first sat down and never again I had to go back to cashier for extra plates.

Hadn't been to this Western Steer in a long time so stopped there to eat. We had the buffet. I used to really this restaurant but I was very disappointed. That was one of the worst meals I have ever had. The food was pretty tasteless and overcooked. Not ever the desserts were good. The staff was friendly and the service was great but the food was awful.

The service here is outstanding. I have never seen a team of empoyees so dedicated to serve you. From the kitchen help to the waitstaff they are very hardworking and friendly. I watched a waitress today help an elderly lady struggling to get up. The food is excellent also. I am very satsified customer. Way to go western steer team.

The decor is dated if not a little run down. The food on the buffet was the best in the Hickory area. They have the best fried chicken on the planet. Don`t belive me? Go try it and find out for yourself. And sit in Billie`s section she is the best server!

MY COMPLAINT IS THE SERVERS NOT DOING THEIR JOB. AT FIRST EVERYTHING LOOKED REALLY NICE. BUT IT SEEMS LATELY THE SERVERS GATHERS AND TALK AND FORGET WHY THEIR THERE. THERE ARE A FEW MORE ITEMS NEEDED TO ADD TO THEIR MENU BUT OTHERWISE IT'S OK THE WAY IT IS. I THINK AT LUNCH TIME THE HAMBURGER sliders AND CHILI WOULD BE NICE TO ADD TO MENU AND DOESN'T ADD THAT MUCH COST. THE FOOD INDUSTRY NEEDS TO SEND IN OUTSIDE PEOPLE TO TEST AND RATE THEIR SERVICES TO BETTER THEIR BUSINESS.
