As seasoned biochemistry researchers from Rockefeller University just across the water, our MD-PhD have frequented the Trellis often during the 2009-2010 season. Some of us live near Cornell Medical School near Rockefeller University; others live in new buildings on Main Street on Roosevelt Island, just down the road from the Trellis. Consistently, we've found delicious food, great live jazz, and a clean and bright bistro where chefs can cook anything you want, whether light, continental, or fast food. The menu has a nice variety of Italian dishes and Greek salads, soups, fish, meat, pastas and desserts. Service has always been excellent. Open 7 days, 5AM-11PM.
