      An Educational Consultant is an advocate for the student and his family in navigating the complex process of selecting, preparing, positioning and applying to colleges and universities. A consultant cannot directly influence the admissions decisions, but he can assure that appropriate schools are chosen and that the student's qualifications are presented optimally. A legitimate consultant is a member of the IECA ( Independent Educational Consultants Association ) and does not accept agency fees or commissions from any institution.Generally and ideally, a consultant can be utilized to guide the student for as long as two years through the final years of secondary school to ensure that academic performance is optimized, time is well utilized, engagement in the school and community is maximized and that the student's life is balanced and goal-oriented.EDUCATIONAL FUTURES ISan educational advisory service providing assistance to young people from around the world who wish to continue their education in secondary school, college or graduate school in North America.Our service is independent of any institution and is exclusively the advocate of the student and his or her family and supplements existing school guidance and counseling services.to help young people make intelligent decisions about the future and to achieve their educational and career goals by positioning them for success in the competition for quality schools in America and Canada.
